eCommerce Platform Specialist / Magento
Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate eCommerce professional to concentrate on the specific area of our eCommerce platform. This is a very exciting position of Product Owner for those who want to make a visible impact on high traffic US-based eCommerce sites currently based on Magento and proprietary ecommerce platforms. As an eCommerce PO / Product Development Manager you will help tuning performance and improving platform functionality by collaborating with developers, designers and business stakeholders. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, have great attention to details as well as superb communication skills.

Job Responsibilities
Proactively monitor, identify, prioritize and resolve platform issues
Develop and champion platform’s roadmap based on incoming request from internal business as well as his/her own findings
Work with developers on clarifying requirements and negotiating the scope of the proposed enhancements based on feature priorities and development estimates
Enforce and monitor established feature management process
Evaluate platform’s and specific feature performance
Measure feature improvements impact
Interact with internal clients to define and document feature improvements
Work with designers on creating user friendly functionality
Create high and detailed level feature enhancement requirements
Facilitate requirements gathering meetings
Conduct User Acceptance Testing

Qualifications
Basic:
Bachelor's degree
2-4 years of hands-on B2C eCommerce site maintenance experience
2-4 years of experience writing functional requirements for eCommerce site
Working knowledge of best practices in eCommerce and User-Centric Design
Basic understanding of a web technologies
Basic understanding of a SEO
Experience with web analytics tools
Understanding of software development methodologies
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office tools
Proven track record of envisioning and implementing solutions to meet business goals
Great attention to details
Ability to motivate and influence teams without direct authority
Practical knowledge in roadmap development, requirements definition and feature prioritization

Preferred:
2+ years of experience in:
Magento ecommerce platform
Web development (any language)
Google Analysts
Google Webmaster tools
Agile environment (any role)
JIRA and Confluence
Project Management (any methodology)
